Over 85,000 Acres Logged in Louisiana |

La. Dept. of Environmental Quality has stated
publicly that over 85,000 acres of cypress have been logged in
Louisiana in the last few years. This has happened in the absence of
any coordinated mapping or assessment of private tracts.
